Product Overview
IEG Software, Inc. (Information Engineering Group) produces the most modern and technically advanced Driver Recruiting, Risk Management and Safety Performance Software specific to the Transportation Industry. The first of these software systems was originally developed back in the early 1990's. However, with upgrades averaging once every two months clients are able to benefit from the newest and most advanced technology as it becomes available!
The Driver Recruiting system provides a work-flow tool that allows a Recruiter to track a Driver from the first point of contact throughout their Term of Service. Driver Applications can be automatically imported from all the major web providers. This system also allows the collection of enough data to build a printable Driver Qualification File. Driver data can be easily and electronically passed from various departments within your organization. Driver information can be also be automatically fed into various other software applications such as payroll/accounting, safety, dispatch, training, operations, etc.
IEG's Report suite is unsurpassed. The Driver Recruiting package provides over 50 Management Reports that include 'Ad Cost Per Call and Hire', 'No Response Ads' as well as 'Application and Hires By Recruiter' etc. In addition to numerous other features the Driver Recruiting system's Employment Verification forms can be automatically populated, printed, emailed and even faxed to and from previous employers directly from your computer!
The Safety and Risk Management systems track the progress of each Driver from the very start. The combination of these systems allows a company to build valuable data on Drivers from first contact throughout their Term of Service.
The Safety system provides reports such as 'Open Moving Violations By Driver' and 'DOT On Road Inspections With HOS Violations'. The Risk Management system provides over 75 Management Reports and Loss Runs which include 'Accidents By Driver Experience, Claims by Customer, Reserve Changes By Date and Liability Accidents Over/Under Deductible' just to name a few!
Together, these systems can provide data for specialized reports such as 'Accidents By CDL School, Accidents By Trainer and Accident Type, Accidents on Drivers With Previous Moving Violations, Accidents by Previous Employers or Truck Driving School and many more!
All report menus are data driven and secured by the User's ID. The Source Code to all reports is included with the software. This allows each client to customize their reports as well as their report menus.
ASP versions are also available on all IEG products.
It's About Having the Ability to Determine Your ROI
Managing the hiring process is especially difficult as a company grows and adds locations and multiple recruiters. "Willis Shaw Express, an 850-truck refrigerated carrier based in Elm Springs, Ark., has five in-house recruiters and advertises in all 48 states for drivers," says Richard Crook, the company’s VP of Safety and Compliance. "The company uses Driver Recruiting C/S, a software system from IEG Software, to track such things as where advertising produces results and to compare the number of applicants who call in versus the number that get processed into hires. The software provides management reports such as ad cost per hire, calls by recruiter and hires by recruiter," Crook says. "In addition, the software offers network users a uniform method to track and follow up with driver applicants." [CCJ Feature 3/2003 - Blazing the Trail, By Aaron Huff]
It's About Utilizing Your Leads
Venezia Bulk Transport, a 420-truck carrier based in Royersford, Pa., also uses a driver recruiting system from IEG Software. "By using IEG’s advanced search capabilities, we can view a snapshot of the company’s hiring activity in a specific region over a certain time period," says Chuck Fosburg, Driver Recruiting Manager. For example, if the company received new business in Pennsylvania and needed to hire drivers in that region, Fosburg says he could quickly run one of IEG's Reports which would show advertising ran in Pennsylvania from last spring ultimately produced more driver applications than what was originally needed. “Potentially, you do not have to re-advertise,” Fosburg says. “[The software] keeps track of everything, from names to addresses, phone numbers, email, qualifications and endorsements on CDL. The fields are endless. It’s like having a 300-subject electronic notebook.” [CCJ Feature 1/2007 - Wired to Hire, By Aaron Huff]
"Advanced software to manage recruiting and hiring is not limited to large companies that have expensive mainframe systems. Driver Recruiting C/S is also available in a subscription-based on-line version," says Ken Windle, president of IEG Software.
